Amber Circuit

Carillon Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 4, 2026

This policy describes how Carillon, the bill organizer provided by Amber Circuit (Android package com.ambercircuit.carillon), handles information. It covers the Android and iOS app where the described features are available.

Bill records and information on your device

Carillon stores the bill information you enter, including names, amounts, due dates, recurrence settings, notes, payment history, reminder settings and related photos, in app storage on your device. Reminder-delivery logs, preferences and local restore points are also stored on the device. These records support organizing bills, displaying your history and scheduling reminders. Carillon does not require a Carillon account or provide bank-account synchronization.

Carillon does not operate a developer-hosted bill database. Your device's operating-system backup or cloud-sync settings may separately back up app files under the policies of the provider you use.

Photos, reminders and device permissions

If you choose to attach a photo, the app can use your camera or the photos you select through the system picker. Photos are used for your bill records. You can decline access or revoke permissions in device settings. Notification and alarm-related permissions support reminders; availability and behavior depend on your operating system and permission choices. Android may also offer battery-setting options for reminder delivery.

Exports and sharing

You can export bill data or calendar entries and choose where to save or share them. The app can write exports to a folder you select; another app or cloud service may sync that folder. Exported files may contain bill amounts, dates and other information from your records. Anyone you share them with, and any service you choose to store them in, handles them under its own practices. Carillon does not automatically connect to your Google Drive account.

Advertising

Carillon integrates Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) for banner and interstitial advertising. The app requests non-personalized ads, but non-personalized advertising can still process information. Google and its advertising services may collect or receive IP addresses, device or advertising identifiers, app interactions, ad interactions and diagnostic information to deliver ads, measure performance and prevent fraud. This processing is separate from your locally stored bill records; Carillon does not include bill names, amounts, notes or photos in its ad requests.

For details and available controls, see Google's Privacy Policy and Google advertising controls. Device privacy settings may also provide advertising-identifier controls. An active ad-free entitlement disables Carillon's ad display; it does not delete information previously processed by advertising providers.

In-app purchases

Where offered, purchases and restores are processed by Google Play or Apple's App Store. Carillon uses purchase status and product information to enable purchased features. The store handles payment details; Carillon does not receive your payment-card number. Store providers process account, payment and transaction information under their policies: Google and Apple.

Support

If you contact us, we receive your email address and the message and attachments you send. We use that information to respond and investigate your request. Avoid sending sensitive bill details, payment credentials or unnecessary personal information. Support correspondence may be retained for follow-up and record keeping; contact us to request deletion, subject to applicable record-retention requirements.

Retention and deletion

Local information remains until you delete it, remove app storage or uninstall the app, subject to operating-system behavior. Deleting a bill may not remove it from existing restore points, exported files or device backups. To remove all local Android app data, use the operating system's clear-storage control; on iOS, delete the app rather than offloading it. Separately delete exported files and backups from their locations and cloud services if you no longer want them retained. Purchase history and advertising-provider records are managed by the relevant provider.

Children

Carillon is designed for general bill organization and is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through support, contact us so we can review and address the request.

Your choices and requests

You can manage device permissions, edit or delete bill records, control exports and use available advertising settings. To ask questions or make a privacy request, email contact.ambercircuit@gmail.com. Privacy rights and provider controls vary by location; we will review requests under applicable requirements.

Policy updates

We may update this policy when the app or its data practices change. Updates will appear on this page with a revised effective date.
