Wondering Heart Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 18, 2026

This policy explains how Wondering Heart, the Windows picture puzzle game provided by Amber Circuit, handles information. It covers local puzzle play, Epic Games services where enabled, support correspondence, and these website pages.

Puzzle progress is stored on your device. Builds that enable Epic sign-in and achievements also use Epic services to authenticate your account and record achievements. The current RC9 build does not yet include that integration; this policy describes it only where enabled.

Local puzzle progress and settings

Wondering Heart stores your selected scene, puzzle difficulty, placed pieces, piece order and completion message in the game's local application storage so you can resume a puzzle. These puzzle records are not uploaded to an Amber Circuit game server. Your operating system or backup software may separately copy local files according to your settings.

Epic account sign-in and achievements

Where enabled in your build, Epic Account Services and Epic Online Services authenticate your Epic account and associate achievement progress with it. The integration processes Epic account identifiers, a product-specific user identifier, authentication tokens, and the achievement identifiers and unlock information needed to provide these features. Epic services may also process IP addresses, device and network information, and service diagnostics to operate and protect their services.

Authentication takes place through Epic's supported sign-in flow. Amber Circuit does not ask you to email an Epic password or payment information. Information made available to the game depends on the permissions shown in Epic's authorization screen. The planned integration uses basic account identification and achievements; it does not require access to your friends list or email address.

Epic achievement records are separate from locally saved puzzles. Clearing local game storage does not delete achievements held by Epic. Achievement visibility and account controls are managed through Epic. See Epic Games' Privacy Policy and Epic Games Support. The presence of this policy does not mean Epic sign-in or achievements are already available in a particular build.

Advertising, analytics and device access

Wondering Heart does not include advertising or a separate Amber Circuit analytics service. It does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts or precise location. The spoken encouragement and animated scenes are prerecorded media; the game does not record your voice or generate content from your personal information.

Store purchases

Epic Games Store handles purchases, downloads and store-account records under its own policies. Amber Circuit does not receive your payment-card number. Store reports may provide transaction and sales information to the publisher for accounting and support.

Support messages

If you contact contact.ambercircuit@gmail.com, we receive your email address and the message, attachments or diagnostic information you choose to send. We use them to respond, investigate problems and handle privacy requests. Please do not send passwords, authentication tokens, payment-card details or unnecessary personal information.

This website

These pages are hosted through Sites and Cloudflare. Hosting and security providers may process IP addresses, browser information and request logs to deliver and protect the website. Amber Circuit has not added advertising or analytics scripts to these policy pages. Following a link to another site subjects that visit to that provider's practices.

Retention, deletion and your choices

Local puzzle records remain until you remove the game's application data, subject to operating-system and backup behavior. Uninstalling the game may leave application data behind; separately remove saved data and backups if you want to delete them. Removing local progress cannot be undone unless you have a backup.

Epic controls retention of account, purchase, authentication and achievement records within its services. Use Epic account settings or contact Epic for those records. We retain support messages as needed to resolve requests, follow up and meet applicable record-keeping requirements. You can request access, correction or deletion of personal information held by Amber Circuit at the contact address below. We will review requests under the requirements that apply to your location and may need information to verify the request.

Children and families

Parents or guardians should manage children's use of Epic accounts and services through Epic's available family and account controls. Please avoid sending a child's personal information in support messages. Contact us if you believe a child has sent us personal information so we can review and address it.

Contact and policy updates

For privacy questions, support or a privacy request, contact Amber Circuit at contact.ambercircuit@gmail.com. We will update this page and its effective date when the game's data practices change.
